- FOAD ;) I am never using any PC shit.

-
- NO. You don't _need_ a Multi-Sync on PC.
-
- :MLB> Bottom line is this, if I were buying a system from scratch today, I

-
- 500 GBP for a computer who's resolution is 640*256, with 2 MB of RAM, with a
- 68EC020. Yeah right. Rip OFF. My point is that I have used Amiga for 7
- years, I like it - I'm convinced Amiga is better. AT don't have to convince
- me or you, they have to convince people looking at buying a computer for the
- first time.

- :
- : U R *not* going to see this happenning at the current price point. The 060s
- : are *much* more expensive then the current crop of 030 which IMHO are a fine
- : CPU.
-
- The 030 is old, and slow.
-
- 060s are expensive because there has not been real volume demand on them.
- Think about it, who buys 060s? It looks like Apple may drop the 060 in favour
- of PPC across their range. That leaves AT and Amiga Accelerator boards, any
- others?
-
- The PowerPC is the leading edge processor, the 060 would be available cheaper
- to AT if they were going to use it in ALL the Amigas.
-
- : Buy the 486 and enjoy it! But don't try and tell me that the A1200 is not
- : good value.
-
- NO. I'm going to buy an 060 board which will piss all over a 486 DX anything.
- But it will cost as much as a 486 system, so what I LOVE AMIGA.
